Open Position: Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

* Night shift position
* Work every other weekend and 50% of holidays required
* Block scheduling is allowed
* Float throughout the entire hospital as required
* 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers are eligible
* Candidates residing within 50 miles of facility are not eligible
* Charting system: Cerner (preferred)
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, RRT, MO state license
* Missouri license or Compact license must be in hand at start; pending RRT license is acceptable; CRT not allowed
* Position serves patient age groups including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Position is very active and requires ambulating, reaching, and moving objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs
* Community hospital experience preferred
* LTAC experience preferred
* Trauma Level I and Trauma Level II experience preferred
* Key skills include: adult critical care, BiPAP, CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, mechanical ventilation weaning, intubation assist, arterial blood gas interpretation, tracheostomy care/management, bronchoscopy, chest physiotherapy, emergency department experience, and pediatric care
