Open Position: Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 3 days per week
* Must clock in on the 8th Floor as early as 6:38 AM and report promptly at 6:45 AM for huddle
* Float required between two campuses located 1 block apart from each other (shuttle available for travelers)
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* No block scheduling or special scheduling accommodations permitted - all schedules are assigned based on unit staffing needs
* Extended time off will not be approved
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Trauma experience required
* Adult critical care ventilator experience required
* Extra corporeal experience preferred
* NICU and pediatrics experience preferred
* Experience with Hamilton C6 ventilator preferred
* Required certifications: RRT, ACLS, BLS
* Scrub color: Navy Blue
* Charting system: Epic
* Treats patients across all age groups including neonates, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Preferred experience with transplant, extra corporeal, Hamilton, Puritan Bennett, and Vyaire Avea equipment

Facility:

This is a short-term acute care Level I Trauma Center with a total of 1,567 staffed beds. The facility operates across two campuses located within close proximity to one another and provides a comprehensive range of services to support diverse patient needs. As a Level I Trauma Center, the facility is equipped to handle the most complex and critical cases, supported by advanced technology and a multidisciplinary care team.
