Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac and Telemetry

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* 36 or 48 hours per week guarantees available
* Overtime is not billable until after 48 hours
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Work on a Cardiac and Telemetry unit (not a Stepdown unit)
* Nurse to patient ratio of 5:1 to 6:1 depending on staffing
* Utilize Epic EMR system
* Wear ceil blue scrubs
* Provide routine and complex nursing care, practicing independently in the clinical setting
* Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
* Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care given
* Assess and address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
* Provide patient and family education, identifying issues and available resources
* Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers as needed
* Required certifications: BLS via AHA and ACLS via AHA
* Active RN license in state of employment or compact license required
* Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
* Minimum 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
* Temp to perm is a possibility
