Open Position: Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

* 4 x 10-hour varying shifts with shift times of 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, and 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM
* Must work Christmas Eve coverage
* Will be placed on the mandate list to fill any vacant call that is not picked up
* On-call requirement of 1 call per week and 1 call weekend every 3-4 weeks with a 30-minute response time
* Will be on call every other weekend if needed
* Scrub, circulate, and monitor peripheral/vascular cases, right and left heart catheterizations
* May scrub devices and work in EP cases
* Work in a facility with 8 fluoroscopy rooms and 1 minimally invasive room without fluoroscopy
* No floating to other units or departments
* Utilize equipment including XIM (division of Witt, Philips charting), EPIC, Pyxis, Xcelera, Siemens, and Philips fluoroscopy systems
* Orientation focused on monitoring in XIM and developing ability to scrub and circulate effectively
* Scrubs provided in Ceil Blue
* Must badge in and out at the facility
* 2-3 years of experience required
* RCIS or RCES preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
* BSN not required

This acute care facility operates as a Level 1 Trauma Center, providing comprehensive cardiovascular and interventional services. The department features 8 fluoroscopy rooms and 1 minimally invasive room, supporting a wide range of cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. The unit utilizes advanced charting and imaging systems to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient clinical operations.
