Opportunity:

RN - Emergency Department

Job Details:

* 48 hours guaranteed per week is an option
* Work in a 38-bed emergency department with three main areas: Rapid, Main, and POD 3 (psych safe area)
* Day shift staffed with 7 RNs and night shift staffed with 7 RNs, with 5 mid-shift RNs
* Day shift and night shift positions available
* Required to work 4 weekend shifts and 2 Fridays minimum per 4-week schedule
* Required to work 2 major holidays and 2 minor holidays
* Must be proficient with ventilators, BiPAP, EKG, arterial lines, Belmont, and chest tubes
* EMR system: Meditech
* Typical procedures include port placement and chest tube management
* Must demonstrate strong prioritization, time management, and de-escalation skills
* CPI certification preferred
* Floating to Brookside ED may be required
* Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
* Ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, a team player, positive, and coachable

The department is equipped with advanced medical equipment and utilizes an electronic medical records system to support efficient and high-quality patient care.
