Opportunity:

RN - Medical-Surgical

Job Details:

* Work on a 31-bed Medical-Surgical unit located on the 6th floor of the Main Tower
* Patient ratio of 6:1
* Day and night shifts available with RNs and LPNs staffing both shifts
* Float to other Medical-Surgical units based on staffing and patient care needs
* Scrub color requirement: Royal blue for nurses
* Operate and monitor telemetry equipment, IV infusion pumps, bladder scanners, EKGs, enteral feeding pumps, BiPAPs, Vapotherms, wound vacs, and PCA pumps
* Utilize Meditech EMR system
* Perform dressing changes and wound care, wound vac changes, blood administration, and port access
* Care for patients with multiple chronic conditions requiring strong assessment and critical thinking skills
* Current RN license and BLS certification required
* Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
* Ability to care for telemetry patients required
* Telemetry experience preferred
* Oncology and chemotherapy administration experience preferred
* Meditech experience preferred
* Strong teamwork, adaptability, communication, and patient-centered approach expected
