Job Details:

* Level 1 experience desired with a minimum of 3 years recent experience in the operating room
* Staff will be expected to work in a variety of specialty areas
* Required specialty areas include Total Joints, Ortho Spine, Gynecology, and Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS)
* Call policy runs 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM during the week and 7:00 AM Saturday through 7:00 AM Monday on weekends
* 40-minute response time required for call
* Rotating list used for selecting call shifts
* First 6-week schedule will include 2-3 weekday call shifts within the period
* Following 6-week period will include a weekend call shift
* Late coverage may be required as backup in the event the OR schedule runs long
* Late coverage is signed up for in advance and the requirement can vary
* Required certifications: BLS
* Compliance requirements include Basic Math exam, OR Competency exam, OR skills, CORE exams, and No-Medication exam or NIHSS
* Candidates may be required to float within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby
