Opportunity:

TRAVEL - Pharmacist

Job Details:

* Work 10-hour night shifts from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Shifts are consecutive beginning Wednesday night and concluding Wednesday morning, followed by one week off
* Perform order verification, clinical consultation, lab review, and antimicrobial stewardship
* Work with adult and pediatric patients on night shift with evenly divided workload
* Utilize equipment including Meditech, Pyxis, Dose Edge, Vigilanz, Webex, iMobile, and Outlook
* Minimum 6 months of current pharmacist experience required
* Inpatient pharmacist experience with adult patients required
* Advanced training such as residency or board certification preferred
* Meditech experience preferred
* BLS certification preferred

Facility:

This progressive and dynamic pharmacy department operates within a large hospital facility with 680 licensed beds and an average census of 275 patients. The pharmacy team consists of a full complement of skilled pharmacists and technicians across all shifts, supported by advanced medication safety technology including electronic medical record integration, DoseEdge, Inovalon, and bar code medication administration systems. The facility serves both adult and pediatric patient populations and fosters a warm, welcoming, and collaborative work environment.
