Job Details:

* Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM shift schedule
* No weekend or on-call requirements
* Inpatient and outpatient setting
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a pediatric echo lab required
* Travel experience required
* Permanent address must be 75 miles from facility - locals not accepted
* Must be pediatric registered via CCI (RCCS) or ARDMS (RDCS-PE)
* Required certifications: BLS, RDCS-Adult, RDCS-Peds, RCS, RCCS
* Maximum of 8 patient studies per day
* Must have extensive knowledge of congenital heart disease and surgical repair
* Patient age range from neonates to adult congenital patients
* Must be able to work independently
* Will assist with TEEs in the cath lab and OR when in the hospital
* Will help cover both the hospital and clinic as needed
* Required skills: PACS, portable studies, and strong echo skills
* Required equipment experience: GE E95, GE S70, GE E9, and GE IQ
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Scrub color: Black
* Skills include: 3-D Echo, adult acute care, adult outpatient, bubble study, M-Mode, imaging with contrast agents, transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE), right ventricular inflow tract (RVIT), right ventricular outflow tract (RVOT), treadmill stress echo, PICU, NICU, strain, and diastology

Facility:

This is a children's hospital offering specialized pediatric care across both inpatient and outpatient settings. The facility operates a very busy echo lab that requires sonographers to work independently and maintain a high level of expertise in pediatric and congenital heart disease imaging. The facility supports a wide range of procedures including TEEs performed in the cath lab and operating room, serving patients ranging from neonates to adult congenital patients.
