Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

* Work on a 36-bed Med Surg unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
* Day shift staffing includes 1 clinical coordinator, 6 RNs, 3 techs, and 1 unit secretary
* Night shift staffing includes 1 clinical coordinator, 6 RNs, and 2 techs
* Provide care for post-operative patients
* Perform wound care including dressing changes and drain management
* Maintain drains and support post-operative recovery
* Utilize Baxter IV pumps, Medfusion pumps, and SCDs
* Document using Meditech EMR system
* Required certification: BLS
* Familiarity with post-operative patients preferred
* Competency with dressing changes, wound care, and drain management preferred
* Must be a team player with a positive attitude and strong patient advocacy skills
* Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
* Scrub color requirements: Navy Blue or White
* No hoodies, pull-overs, or T-shirts permitted
