Opportunity:

RN - Ambulatory/Surgical Specialty Clinic

Job Details:

* 8-hour day shifts
* Work in a surgical multi-specialty clinic with primary focus on Urology, with potential to assist in Orthopedics and OHNS (Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery)
* Ability to float to other UCSF facilities required
* Minimum 2 years of experience in an ED or Ambulatory setting with both adult and pediatric patients required
* Urology experience required
* Triage experience required
* Previous charge experience required
* Travel experience required
* BSN required
* California RN license required
* Required certifications: BLS
* Epic charting system experience required
* Proficiency in skills including: telephone triage, foley catheter insertion/management, venipuncture/phlebotomy, suture removal, sterile procedure tray setup, urine dipstick/urinalysis, medication reconciliation, and subcutaneous injections
* Perform and assist with specialty procedures including: cystoscopy, urodynamic studies, bladder botox, uroflo, post-void residual, vasectomy, penile injection, transrectal ultrasound, and other sterile procedure setups
* Operate specialty equipment including ultrasound and Trophon 2
* Serve patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Interdisciplinary support available including interpretation services, radiology, social services, and unit secretary

Facility:

This facility is a surgical multi-specialty clinic offering a comprehensive range of outpatient specialty services including urology, orthopedics, and otolaryngology. The clinic maintains a daily census of approximately 150 patients with around 40 visits per day across 20 rooms. The facility provides robust interdisciplinary support including interpretation services, radiology, and social services, and is part of a larger network of healthcare facilities in the region.
