Opportunity:

IMC RN - wide variety of patients (6 Front Pod A)

Job Details:

* Night shift position working 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* 3x12 or 4x12 shift options available with 36 or 48 hour contract options
* 36 hours guaranteed per week
* Weekday shifts with every other weekend required
* Float position
* 3:1 patient ratio
* 16-bed intermediate care unit serving a wide variety of patient diagnoses, both chronic and acute including cardiac, pulmonary, renal, GI, and sepsis with mostly medical and some surgical cases
* Patients include adults and geriatrics
* Must have telemetry experience including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias and ventilator management
* Special equipment includes lifts and bed and chair alarms
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
* Scrub color: Royal Blue/White (RN)
* Charting system: Cerner
* Free parking available for travelers
* Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (must be through American Heart Association)
* WV or Compact License required; pending license accepted for submission
* Minimum 2 Manager and/or Charge Nurse references from the past 2 years required
* Open to accommodating blocked schedule requests
* Holiday RTO requests limited to no more than 1 of the 3 major holidays
* Orientation held every other Thursday with 16 orientation hours

With 838 total staffed beds, this facility offers a comprehensive range of medical services and is supported by robust interdisciplinary teams. The intermediate care unit provides an excellent environment for professional growth, offering exposure to a wide variety of patient diagnoses in a well-supported clinical setting.
