Acute Care Float

Job Details:

* Shifts available Sunday through Saturday
* 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Float position with weekend coverage required
* Minimum 3 years of experience required
* Travel experience required - no first-time travelers accepted
* Local candidates accepted
* Epic charting system experience required and must be noted in work history
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS - all must be in-hand when applying
* CPI Blue Card from the Crisis Prevention Institute required in-hand when applying - MAB or Online CPI Blue certification not accepted
* California State License required in-hand when applying - EMSA not accepted
* Two supervisor references required when applying
* No requested time off within the first two weeks of assignment
* Patient age group: Adolescents
* Skills include but are not limited to: cardiac telemetry, blood product administration, central line care/management, BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, chest tube management, heparin protocols, high flow nasal cannula, interpretation of arterial blood gases, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, tracheostomy care, wound care/wound vac, PICC line management, pacemaker management, intracranial bleeds, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, seizure disorders, and use of rapid response/code teams

The facility utilizes Epic as its primary charting system and maintains high standards for patient care through rigorous compliance requirements and staff qualifications.
