Job Details:

* 3x12 variable shift schedule
* Weekend shifts required
* No on-call required
* Guaranteed 60 hours per 2 weeks with the possibility of being called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks
* Must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility - local candidates not accepted
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate
* Preferred charting system experience: Epic
* Scrub color: Any or business casual
* Parking is free
* Care for patient age groups including neonates, infants, and adults
* Key skills include: administration of blood and blood products, antihypertensives, APGAR scores, assist with vaginal delivery, breastfeeding and lactation support, cesarean section, couplet care, epidural anesthesia, Foley catheter insertion and management, fundus/lochia/perineum care, hemorrhage/shock management, magnesium sulfate therapy, newborn assessment, newborn hypoglycemia management, pain assessment and management, Pitocin (oxytocin), postpartum hemorrhage, pregnancy-induced hypertension management, prostaglandins, recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, starting and maintaining IVs, sterile vaginal exam, triage of obstetrical patients, use of external and internal fetal monitoring, use of infusion pumps, thermoregulation, vaccine administration, vaginal delivery, and wound assessment and care
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary

Facility:

This acute care medical center also offers long-term care and outpatient services, operating as a Critical Access Hospital with a Level IV Trauma designation. The facility maintains 46 acute care beds and 22 long-term care beds, providing a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services. The Labor and Delivery unit consists of 4 rooms and 4 beds, supported by a comprehensive interdisciplinary team dedicated to quality maternal and neonatal care.
