Job Details:

* No on-call responsibilities
* No weekend shifts required
* Must be available to work 1-2 of 3 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
* Orientation scheduled every Monday
* Iowa state license required
* Minimum 12 months of previous Medical Assistant experience required
* Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) license required
* EPIC EMR experience required
* At least 1 completed travel contract highly preferred
* Active BLS certification required (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military certificates also accepted)
* Patient care responsibilities include rooming pre and post-op patients, assisting with in-office procedures, vein closures, and biopsies
* May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
* Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility based on driver's license address
* Must not have been an employee of UnityPoint Health within the last 12 months
