Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

* Day shift hours with rotating weekends, working 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
* Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients
* Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, procedures, and standards of care
* Document according to standards of care
* Perform assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care
* Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient plans of care as prescribed by physician and/or clinic policy, including patient and family instruction
* Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, including shared governance
* Utilize clinical expertise to provide guidance to other units and departments in support of the patient's longitudinal plan of care
* Apply critical thinking regarding patient safety and patient experience, escalating to the appropriate chain of command when necessary
* Participate in the professional nursing continuum process, unit practice activities, decisions, and peer review process
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and either TNCC or TNS (AHA Provider level certifications required for BLS, ACLS, and PALS)
* Wisconsin RN Licensure required
* Education verification required
