Opportunity:

RN - Labor and Delivery

Job Details:

* Trained in Labor and Delivery with ability to circulate C-sections and care for post-partum patients
* May float to Med Surg as needed
* Acute care setting
* Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs
* Review patient history and physical with patient/family and ensure completion within appropriate timeframe
* Review diagnostic and laboratory data and report abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers
* Complete assessments and reassessments according to patient need and outlined policy
* Formulate and initiate individualized plans of care including discharge planning based on patient-specific needs and medical plan of care
* Develop realistic and measurable patient goals in conjunction with patient and family
* Consider physical, cultural, psychosocial, spiritual, age-specific, and educational needs in care planning
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members in care planning
* Review and revise plan of care to reflect changing patient needs based on ongoing evaluation
* Charting system: EPIC
* No cancellation policy
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
