Open Position: RN - Acute Med Surg Acute Care

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2097.16

Opportunity:

RN - Medical/Surgical (Acute Care)

Job Details:

* 12-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM or 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
* Every other weekend requirement
* Holiday shifts as needed
* 44-bed unit with a staff of 40
* Patient ratios of 1:5, possibly 1:6 for both days and nights
* CNA support available at 1:8, generally 1:10 ratio
* Telemetry monitored on a different unit
* Floating required to all acute care, cardio for medical patients, and EC for acute care patient holds
* Charting system: Meditech (experience preferred but not required)
* Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and NIHSS (both must be AHA)
* Minimum 1 year of experience required with 1 travel assignment
* BSN not required
* Must reside within a strict 75-mile radius from the hospital based on address listed on driver's license

Facility:

This acute care facility is a well-established hospital serving a regional population with a dedicated medical/surgical unit. The facility provides comprehensive inpatient care with CNA support staff, telemetry monitoring capabilities, and access to cardiology services. The organization maintains a structured orientation program, including one week of general orientation with EMR training and two days of floor-specific orientation to ensure contractors are well-prepared for their assignments.
