Open Position: OT - OT Inpatient

Opportunity:

OT - LTC/SNF

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday day shift schedule with no call or weekend requirements
* 40 hours per week
* 90% LTC/SNF and 10% inpatient split
* Evaluate and treat a variety of adult patient diagnoses in the acute hospital setting including general deconditioning, total joint replacement, post-op ortho, neuro diagnoses, and general medical-surgical cases
* Provide coverage support for SNF facilities requiring skilled therapy services
* May occasionally be the only Occupational Therapist at an LTC location with phone support available at all times
* Float to all locations as needed
* Therapy caseload typically averages approximately 30-40 patients
* Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records in acute care settings and Casamba/NetHealth for LTC environments
* Must badge in and out at facility
* Dress code: Polo (Ceil Blue, Khaki, Gray, or Chocolate Brown) or business casual
* Minimum 1 year of experience in acute care setting within the past 3 years preferred but not required
* Inpatient and SNF experience required
* EPIC experience highly preferred
* Minnesota Occupational Therapy License required or willingness to obtain
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
* Cancellation policy: Client may cancel up to 12 hours every 13 weeks

Facility:

This facility is a licensed acute care hospital with 118 beds that also provides therapy coverage support across multiple skilled nursing facilities. The organization offers a comprehensive orientation program including computer-based training, one-on-one documentation system training, and department-specific orientation. The facility operates at Trauma Level 3 and utilizes EPIC as its primary electronic medical records system, while supporting LTC environments through additional platforms.
