RN - ER

Job Details:

* Night shift position working 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with various days of the week, may include late mid shifts
* Every other weekend requirement
* No on-call responsibilities
* No floating required within facility
* Minimum 3 years of experience in Trauma and Adult Emergency Department required
* First-time travelers accepted with caution based on ER nursing experience
* Patient ratio of 1:4
* Average daily census of 140 with 21 beds
* Charting system: Epic experience required
* Scrub color: Navy Blue
* Required certifications: BSN, ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI
* California RN License required (EMSA not accepted)
* BSN required
* Care for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Perform and manage a broad range of emergency care skills including triage, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation, chest tube management, central line care, blood product administration, and interpretation of dysrhythmias and ABGs
* Experience with Epic charting system required
* Community hospital experience preferred

The emergency department operates as a high-volume unit supported by an extensive interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, social services, and more. The facility holds both STEMI and Stroke certifications, reflecting its commitment to advanced, high-quality emergency care.
