Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Emergency Room unit with patient ratios that vary depending on acuity, typically 4:1
* Unit staffed with 2 RNs on night shift
* Perform procedures including IV, EKG, foleys, splints, wound infiltration, wound care, medication administration, and assessments
* Utilize equipment including LifePak, Lucus, Philips, and GE
* EMR system: Meditech
* Minimum 1 year of current acute care ED RN experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI Blue card
* Experience working in a large hospital setting preferred
* Prior Meditech experience preferred
* Teamwork-oriented personality that thrives in a positive culture and work environment preferred

Facility:

This facility is a hospital-based emergency department converted from a freestanding ED, offering increased resources including respiratory therapy, house supervisor support, and staff across med/surg and ICU floors. The department features a full on-site lab with lab staff and comprehensive radiology services including CT, MRI, Echo, X-ray, and ultrasound. The unit maintains a seasoned team with a positive culture and strong emphasis on teamwork.
