Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Telemetry

Job Details:

* 48 hours guaranteed per week option available
* Work on a 36-bed Cardiac Telemetry unit (7N) on the 7th floor of the main hospital
* Patient ratios of 4 to 5:1
* Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 9 RN/LPN, and 3 PCTs; night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 8 RN/LPN, and 3 PCTs
* 3 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule; Friday and Saturday nights, Saturday and Sunday days
* Float to other telemetry departments, med-surg, and PCU as needed
* Experience recovering post-cath patients (no sheath removal), pacemaker placements, stroke patients, amiodarone drips, and Cardizem drips required
* ACLS certification required
* NIH certification preferred
* Proficiency with Pyxis, Alaris pumps, Welch Allen Vitals machines, and Meditech EMR required
* Grey scrubs required for RNs
* Fast-paced, high energy individual with a strong sense of teamwork preferred
