Opportunity:

Travel Social Worker - LMSW

Job Details:

* 13-week assignment
* 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
* Schedule rotates between Monday through Friday and Friday through Monday
* No on-call responsibilities
* Occasional weekend coverage (rarely required)
* Patient ratio of 1:8
* Float position covering all units with rotational coverage in ER and Mother/Baby
* Perform assessments of social situations and needs, and write plans accordingly
* Participate in multidisciplinary team rounds for discharge planning
* Must have experience using EMR systems EPIC and MIDAS
* Must be an independent starter with willingness to consult with other professionals
* Creativity and adaptability required given the unique nature of Alaska and its challenges
* Required credentials: LMSW and Master's in Social Work or equivalent educational degree
* Must have active Alaska Social Work license in hand prior to submission
* Must have secured housing and transportation before accepting the assignment
* Dress code: Scrubs or business casual
