Job Details:

* Work 3x12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
* Weekend schedule includes Saturday and Sunday plus one weekday
* No on-call responsibilities required
* Traveler will be required to work at least one holiday period (Christmas or New Year's)
* May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs
* 2 years of OR RN experience strongly preferred
* First-time travelers accepted
* South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
* Required certifications: BLS and Radiation Badge (radiation badge to be provided by agency)
* Level 1 trauma experience required
* Scrub experience strongly preferred
* RNs are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures
* Surgical specialties include Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics
* Charting system: EPIC
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift
* Interdisciplinary support available including interpretation services, radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretary

Facility:

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, and Magnet-designated hospital with 820 total staffed beds. The Main Operating Room features 21 OR suites covering all surgical specialties and operates as a busy, nurse-driven department offering cutting-edge technology. The nursing team consists of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists, working together in a dynamic and advanced clinical environment.
