Mammography Tech

Job Details:

* No floating between units required
* No on-call required
* No weekends required
* No block schedules required
* 1:1 patient ratio
* Patients include adults and geriatrics
* 5 rooms available for patient care
* Perform breast biopsies, localizations, and savvy scout procedures
* Work with special equipment including Trident and Hologic systems
* Hologic experience required; biopsy experience preferred
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Scrubs: any color permitted
* At least 1 year of experience required
* Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS, Oregon license, Mammography-ARRT
* Required skills: 3D Mammography, Diagnostic Mammograms, Digital Mammography, Digital Quality Assurance Procedures, Hologic 3D, Hologic Affirm BX, Needle Localizations, Outpatient, Radiation Safety, Screening Mammograms, Stereotactic Biopsy, Universal Precautions/Core Measures
* Interdisciplinary support available including interpretation services and radiology
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years

This short-term acute care facility operates with 418 staffed beds and offers a comprehensive range of medical services. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and provides interdisciplinary support including interpretation services and radiology.
