Open Position: RN - Cath Lab

Opportunity:

Cath Lab RN

Job Details:

* 4x10-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with on-call requirements
* Guaranteed 36 hours per week
* Daily caseload of 8-10 cases per tech
* Minimum 2 years RN experience required with at least 1 year in Cath Lab
* Must be competent in all aspects of Cath Lab Diagnostic and Intervention including Structural
* No first-time Cath Lab travelers accepted - experience required
* Weekend requirement is call only
* On-call schedule includes 2-3 weekday nights from 7:00 PM to 6:30 AM as second call, and approximately one weekend every 4-5 weeks from Friday 7:00 PM through Monday 6:30 AM
* First and second call rotates every 12 hours during on-call periods
* 2-hour callback minimum
* Responsibilities include circulating in the lab, moderate sedation, patient assessment, medication administration, pre and post-op care, and call coverage
* Charting system: Cerner
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Parking is free for travelers
* Travel experience required
* Previous charge experience preferred
* WV or Compact License required; active WV license must be in hand prior to start
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (American Heart Association)
* Minimum 2 manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years required
