Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
* Approximately 120 hours of call total per contract, self-scheduled between weekday and weekend
* One weekend shift required per 6 weeks
* Holiday call preferred but not required
* Call response time of 30 minutes required; sleep room available on-site if needed
* Set schedules with option to block scheduling
* Facility operates 16 suites with an average of 30 cases per day
* Common cases include General, Ortho, Robotics, Neuro, Spine, Urology, and ENT
* Experience in General, Neuro, and Robotics required
* No floating requirements; in extreme circumstances may float within Zone 1 only
* Scrubs provided by facility
* 1 week of unit/department specific orientation required; must be in state for week of orientation even if first day modules are remote
* Charting system: EPIC
* BSN not required
* Must have Colorado DORA license
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA
* Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
* Must reside within 60 miles of facility; valid driver's license must be submitted

Facility:

This acute care facility operates a large surgical department with 16 operating suites handling approximately 30 cases per day across a wide range of specialties. The department supports a diverse surgical case mix including general surgery, orthopedics, robotics, neurosurgery, spine, urology, and ENT procedures. The facility utilizes EPIC as its charting system and provides scrubs to surgical staff, maintaining a well-equipped and professional environment for surgical technologists.
