Opportunity:

RN - Pediatric Hematology/Oncology

Job Details:

* Night shift position covering 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Every 3rd weekend requirement
* On-call possibly required during low census periods from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Patient types include Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, Med Surg, and all Pediatric specialties
* May float across NICU, general floor, and PICU as needed
* Must be willing to float to ED to care for inpatient holds
* Patient ratios of 1:2-4 in a 14-bed unit
* Pediatric experience within previous 18 months required
* Hematology/Oncology experience required
* Must have completed at least 1 travel contract within previous 18 months - no first-time travelers
* EPIC electronic medical systems experience within previous 12 months required
* Work history must reflect 24 months of Pediatric and/or Oncology experience
* Skills checklist specific to Pediatric/Oncology discipline required
* Active Iowa license or compact/Multistate license required
* Professional reference from charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within 24 months preferred
* Driver's license required
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), APHON
