Open Position: RN - L&D

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2739.40

Opportunity:

RN - Labor & Delivery

Job Details:

* 3x12 hour night shifts with rotating weekends and holidays
* Nurse to patient ratio of 1:1 or 1:2 for L&D, 1:3 for mom/baby couplets, and 1:5-6 for combination of mom/babies and gyns
* 19-bed unit
* 36 hours of orientation provided for travelers
* Cancellation policy: client may cancel up to 12 hours every 13 weeks
* Provide care for L&D patients including high risk patients during delivery
* Provide postpartum mom and baby care as well as gynecological surgical post-op care
* Willing to float to newborn nursery and NICU as needed
* Utilize equipment including fetal monitors, suction, oxygen, vital signs monitors, OBIX documentation and centralized monitoring for L&D
* Chart using EPIC system for gynecological patients
* Minimum 3 years of experience in L&D, Postpartum, and Gynecology required
* Experience with fetal monitoring required
* BSN not required
* STABLE certification preferred but not required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NRP
* Dress code: Navy blue scrubs for gynecological and mom/baby care or hospital-provided scrubs for L&D

This acute care facility operates a comprehensive Labor & Delivery unit offering specialized care for both standard and high-risk patients. The unit supports a wide range of obstetric and gynecological services, including postpartum care, newborn nursery, and NICU. The facility utilizes advanced monitoring technology and an integrated electronic health record system to ensure high-quality patient care across all departments.
