Open Position: Echo Technologist - Echo Tech

Opportunity:

Pediatric Echo Tech

Job Details:

* Work Monday through Friday on 8-hour shifts with staggered start times ranging from 6:30 AM to 8:00 AM
* No holiday shifts required
* No weekend shifts required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Floating required between two locations (no more than 30 miles apart)
* Daily caseload of 4 to 10 patients per tech
* Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Must be proficient in scanning pediatric echocardiograms and have extensive knowledge of complex congenital heart defects
* Proficiency with fetal echos highly preferred
* Experience with GE equipment (Vivid 95, Pioneer, Voluson) and PACS system for entering full reports preferred
* Registered Pediatric Sonographer (ARDMS) with PE certification (FE also, if applicable) or CCI with RCCS certification required and must be in hand at time of start
* BLS certification required
* Radiation badge not required
* Travelers should be aware that all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November)
