Opportunity:

RN - NSICU

Job Details:

* Work in a 12-bed Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit with a 1:2 patient ratio
* Self-scheduling with unit needs considered and 6 weekend shifts required per period
* Travelers float first to other ICUs or step-down units as needed
* Document using Cerner electronic health record system
* Operate Baxter pumps and other unit equipment
* Provide care for neurology post-thrombectomy and TPA patients as well as post-neurosurgery patients
* Perform and assist with procedures including CRRT, bedside EVDs, and A-line monitoring
* ICU experience required with neurology ICU experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Required dress code: Navy blue scrubs

The Neuroscience ICU is a dedicated 12-bed unit providing specialized care for critically ill neurological and neurosurgical patients. The facility utilizes Cerner for documentation and maintains modern equipment to support high-acuity patient care needs.
