Job Details:

* Must have MDS experience
* Direct an activity program to meet patients'/residents' social, recreational, physical, educational, and spiritual needs through meaningful activity
* Enable patients/residents to function and maintain their dignity and fullest mental and physical capacity
* Enhance patients'/residents' feelings of usefulness and encourage self-confidence, self-respect, and empowerment
* Responsible for assessment, program development, performance improvement, budget development/monitoring, and personnel management
* May be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
* Minimum 3 years of work experience as an Activities Coordinator required
* Experience must include planning, assessing, and coordinating a comprehensive Activity Program
* Knowledge of human anatomy and administrative practices and procedures required
* Experience with budget preparation required
* Must be able to supervise and direct subordinates and plan and conduct training programs
* Must be able to read, write, speak, and communicate effectively in English
* Valid Driver's License required
* Required certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Workers
