RN - Medical Surgical

Job Details:

* 48 guaranteed hours per facility approval
* Work on a 31-bed Medical-Surgical unit located on the 6th floor of the Main Tower
* Patient ratio of 6:1
* Day and night shifts available with RNs and LPNs on both shifts
* May float to other Medical-Surgical units based on staffing and patient care needs
* Scrub color: Royal blue for Nurses
* Required certifications: BLS
* Current RN license required
* Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
* Must have ability to care for telemetry patients
* Strong assessment and critical thinking skills required
* Experience managing patients with multiple chronic conditions required
* Telemetry experience preferred
* Oncology and chemotherapy administration experience preferred
* Meditech EMR experience preferred
* Perform dressing changes and wound care, wound vac changes, blood administration, and port access
* Operate telemetry monitoring systems, IV infusion pumps, bladder scanners, EKGs, enteral feeding pumps, BiPAPs, Vapotherms, wound vacs, and PCA pumps
* Strong teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills with interdisciplinary teams required
* Compassionate, patient-centered approach with ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients effectively
