Opportunity:

Microbiologist

Job Details:

* Minimum 3 years of experience in Microbiology required
* Previous laboratory work with Microbiology required
* California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license required - must be in hand prior to start
* Required certifications: ASCP, ASCP MT
* Charting system experience required - Paragon (training provided)
* Key skills required: geographical considerations for bacteria identification, hospital clinical laboratory, mycobacteria culture, ova and parasite concentration, and ova and parasite identification
* Floating may be required in rotation with staff and in accordance with floating policies
* Required to complete Assaultive Behavior and Fire Card courses onsite within 30 days of start date
* DUI background hits will not be accepted
* No EMSA accepted
* Local travelers accepted
