Opportunity:

Mammography Technologist

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM and 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM as needed, with every other Saturday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
* If scheduled on a Saturday, a day off will be provided during the week
* Schedule posted one week in advance
* 2-3 weekend shifts required per month
* Float required between 4 sites: Shoreline Medical Center (Guilford, CT), North Haven Medical Center (North Haven, CT), Long Wharf Medical Center (New Haven, CT), and Smilow Cancer Hospital (New Haven, CT)
* Cross training as Breast Sonographer preferred
* Minimum 2 years of experience required within specialty
* Travel experience required
* Required certifications: ARRT M, ARRT R, BLS, Breast Ultrasound
* Experience with Hologic equipment required
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Skills required include: 3-D Mammography, Diagnostic Mammograms, Digital Mammography, Hologic 3D, Screening Mammograms, Radiation Safety, Isolation Precautions/PPE, and Universal Precautions/Core Measures
* Scrub color: Teal tops and bottoms
* Guaranteed hours provided
* Patients served are adults

Facility:

This is a large short-term acute care facility operating as a Level I Trauma Center with 1,567 total staffed beds. The facility provides comprehensive radiology and interdisciplinary support services across multiple medical center locations. The organization is equipped with advanced imaging technology and utilizes Epic as its primary charting system, supporting a wide range of diagnostic and oncological services.
