Opportunity:

Inpatient Pharmacist - Children's Hospital Pharmacy

Job Details:

* 5x8 shift schedule working days and evenings, generally rotating 2 weeks of days followed by 2 weeks of evenings
* Block scheduling type
* Every 4th weekend minimum required
* 80 orientation hours
* Minimum 3 years of inpatient pharmacy experience required; PGY1 residency training may be considered equivalent
* Inpatient/acute care experience required
* RPh required; PharmD preferred
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
* May staff clinically in relevant clinical areas or operationally in dispensing pharmacy (Pharmacist in Charge or sterile processing) based on experience and competency
* Open to candidates with exposure to children's and women's health
* Patient age groups include neonates, infants, adolescents, and pediatrics
* Required skills include pediatric dosing, sterile technique, inpatient/acute care, Pyxis, and Carousel System
* Charting system: Epic
* 202 beds on unit

Facility:

This facility is a short-term acute care hospital and Level I Trauma Center with a total of 1,567 staffed beds. The children's hospital pharmacy operates within a comprehensive healthcare system that supports a wide range of patient populations including neonates, infants, adolescents, and pediatric patients. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and provides both clinical and operational pharmacy staffing opportunities.
