Job Details:

* Weekend shifts run Friday through Sunday or Saturday through Monday
* Call required: variable - typically one weekday call per week and one weekend call every 5 to 6 weeks
* Floating required within facility and scope of practice, including to Main OR as needed
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Patient ratio of 1:1
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics
* Epic charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Required skills include: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aortic Aneurysm repair, Arteriovenous fistula repair, Carotid angioplasty, Carotid artery stenting, Carotid Endarterectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), CVOR, Femoral popliteal bypass graft, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Lobe resection, MAZE Procedure, Mitral valve replacement, Scrub Cardiovascular Surgery, Scrub Thoracic Surgery, Scrub Vascular Surgery, Thoracotomy, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), VATS (Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery), and Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD/RVAD)
* Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services and interpretation services
* No self-scheduling; unit does not accept travel pairs and does not honor block schedules
* Holiday coverage is expected based on the number of major holidays falling within the assignment period
* GA or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
* All requested time off must be finalized at time of submission; no schedule requests can be made post-offer or onsite
* No time off can be requested during orientation week
