Opportunity:

TRAVEL- Occupational Therapist (766) / MC Las Colinas / 8A-4:30P

Job Details:

* Day shift position from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
* Schedule options include Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday
* No on-call requirement
* No floating requirement - if census is low, option to share to a neighboring facility versus call off
* Valid Occupational Therapy License required
* Adult acute care experience required
* ICU experience preferred
* Experience with post-op orthopedic patients preferred
* Perform occupational therapy services for patients undergoing joint replacements, general surgery, GI surgery, incision & drainage procedures, and bariatric surgery
* Work with lift equipment, walkers, and other therapy equipment
* Utilize Meditech EMR system
* Hunter green scrubs required
* Team-oriented, able to multitask, flexible, and willing to learn

Facility:

This facility is a 100-bed hospital with a dedicated occupational therapy unit staffed by a team of 15 therapists including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists. The unit operates on day shifts and provides comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients recovering from a variety of surgical procedures. The facility is equipped with modern therapeutic equipment and utilizes the Meditech electronic medical records system to support high-quality patient care.
