Job Details:

* Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Weekend schedule every other weekend
* On-call responsibilities required
* Guaranteed 36 hours per week
* 13-week assignment
* Minimum 2+ years of emergency room experience required
* Required certifications: PALS or ENPC, ACLS, BLS, TNCC, NIHSS
* Active Texas RN license required - temporary licenses will not be accepted
* CEN certification preferred
* Meditech documentation system experience preferred
* Strong teamwork and communication skills preferred
* All travelers are required to float per the Methodist Floating Policy
* Perform procedures including conscious sedation, intubations, behavioral health watch, sepsis management, stroke care (TPA administration), and chest pain/heart alert management
* Dress code: Navy scrubs required (undershirts and jackets must be white, navy, or black only)
* No acrylic nails, nails must be clean with no chipped nail polish and no longer than one inch
* Hair must be off shoulders and natural color
* Body art should be covered whenever possible
* Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
