Opportunity:

RN - Labor & Delivery

Job Details:

* 13-week contract with an ASAP start date
* Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Block scheduling available
* Floating required as needed within scope
* Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* Daily census of approximately 2 patients with up to 4 visits per day
* Unit consists of 3 Labor & Delivery rooms plus 1 triage room with 20 deliveries per month
* Patients transition to acute care for postpartum
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Critical Access Hospital experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Charting system experience required - Cerner
* Required certifications: BLS, NRP (can be obtained after offer but before start date), ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate
* Required skills: Labor & Delivery, newborn assessment, vaginal delivery, starting and maintaining IVs, vaccine administration, isolation precautions/PPE, LDRP
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, and pharmacy
* Patient age groups served: neonates and adults
* 2 references required covering 2 years in specialty
