Opportunity:

RN - Labor & Delivery

Job Details:

* Night shift position working 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Contract length of 6 to 8 weeks
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Block scheduling available
* Floating required as needed within scope
* Patient ratio of 1:1 on days, nights, and weekends
* Care for neonatal and adult patient populations
* Work in a facility with approximately 20 deliveries per month
* Unit consists of 3 Labor & Delivery rooms plus 1 triage room with postpartum patients transitioning to acute care
* Charting system: Cerner (experience required)
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Critical Access Hospital experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, NRP (can be obtained after offer but before start date), ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate
* Required skills include labor & delivery, newborn assessment, starting and maintaining IVs, vaginal delivery, isolation precautions/PPE, and vaccine administration
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, and pharmacy
