Opportunity:

SIMPLIFI CLINICAL INTERVIEWING

Job Details:

* 12-hour shifts available on day shift (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) or night shift (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
* Every other weekend rotation required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers will be considered
* Scrub color: any color accepted; no hooded shirts or long sleeves (sleeves must be able to be pulled above the elbow)
* EMR: Epic preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, PALS
* Required skills: aseptic and sterile techniques, basic dressing changes, ventilator and trach management, suctioning, G-tube/J-tube management, feeding tubes, chest tubes, epidurals, PCAs, drip management, Foley insertion and management, and discharge skills
* CRRT experience with Prismax preferred; CICU experience preferred
* Patient types include respiratory patients (high flow, CPAP, BiPAP), trachs, chemo, RSV, asthma, medical patients (MIS-C, new onset diabetes with insulin drips, chronically ill, oncology), trauma (falls, MVAs, etc.), cardiovascular/congenital heart defect patients, and surgical patients (appys, G-tubes, ENT, fresh trachs, bowel obstructions, broken bones, VP shunts, cardiac, neuro)
* ECMO experience relevant; ECMO specialist will manage the ECMO machine
* CRRT travelers can take assignments if they have prior experience and can train with the Prismax
* Floating may be required to MedSurg, ED, or NICU as Helping Hands or Constant Observer

Facility:

This facility is a 152-bed Level II Trauma Center and Level IV NICU featuring 16 PICU beds with interchangeable overflow between MedSurg and PICU. The unit serves a mixed patient population including neurological, cardiac, respiratory, surgical, and medical cases. The facility is equipped with advanced technology and specialized teams to support a wide range of pediatric and complex patient needs.
