Job Details:

* Must have ability to work in all critical care areas including NICU, adult ICU, ED, and basic floor therapy
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract
* All RTO must be finalized at time of submission; no schedule requests can be made post-offer or on-site
* No RTO can be requested during orientation week (Monday through Sunday)
* If one or two major holidays fall during assignment, no holiday RTO can be requested
* If three major holidays fall during assignment, one holiday RTO may be considered
* Expected to work major holidays that fall within assignment period
* Self-scheduling
* 12 orientation hours
* Serves patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Daily census of 85 with 103 beds
* Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* Epic charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience required
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT
* Required skills include adult critical care, BiPAP, CPAP, HFNC, tracheostomy care and management, mechanical ventilation weaning, ABG interpretation, intubation assist, NICU, emergency department, extubation, and pediatric critical care
