Job Details:

* 4x10 day shift schedule with days varying week to week based on staffing needs
* Call required - 3 to 4 shifts per month; weeknight call is overnight and weekend call shifts are 24 hours
* Work across 14 OR rooms in Main OR and 4 rooms in the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), with coverage expected in both areas
* Scrub experience preferred
* At least 1 year of experience required
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level II experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Compact nursing license must be in hand at time of submission
* Required skills include: fire safety, cell saver, administration of blood and blood products, infection control, laser safety, radiation safety, specimen handling and labeling, universal protocol, wound management, and a wide range of surgical procedure experience including general, orthopedic, spine, urology, gynecology, thoracic, vascular, neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, podiatry, trauma, and robotic surgery procedures
* Experience with Da Vinci Robotics and Da Vinci SP Surgical System is a plus
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* May be expected to float between nearby sister facilities; refusal to float may result in termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
* 2 professional references required, covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years

This short-term acute care facility operates 325 staffed beds and maintains an 18-room operating suite, including a connected Ambulatory Surgery Center. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and offers a comprehensive surgical program supporting a wide range of specialties including general surgery, orthopedics, spine, neurosurgery, vascular, urology, gynecology, ENT, plastics, podiatry, trauma, and robotic surgery.
