Open Position: RN - Med Surg Tele

Opportunity:

RN - IMCU/PCU/Stepdown/Med Surg/Med Tele

Job Details:

* Every other weekend schedule required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6 on days and 1:6-7 on nights
* Work with Patient Care Techs
* Black or Navy Blue scrubs required
* 48-bed unit with patient types including orthopedic, bariatric, pneumonia, CHF, COPD, Med/Surg, and cardiac
* Required to float across campuses when needed including Rock Island, Moline, Bettendorf, and Muscatine
* May be required to step in as Charge RN or Preceptor
* Work with specialty equipment including chest tubes, Femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, and central lines
* Drip experience required: heparin, insulin (non-DKA), and cardiac drips with titration
* EPIC EMR experience required
* Minimum 15+ months of IMCU, PCU, Stepdown, or Med Surg/Med Tele experience required
* Central line experience required
* Active Illinois RN license required at time of submission; Iowa RN license also required
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
* Preceptor experience preferred
* Charge RN experience preferred
* Respiratory patient experience highly preferred
