Open Position: Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

* Work Monday through Friday, 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
* Call required as needed, averaging 12 days per month including at least one weekend from Friday 5:30 PM to Monday 7:00 AM
* Call response time is 30 minutes
* Holiday call required with rotating assignments
* No floating required
* Orientation length depends on skill level, generally 1 to 2 shifts
* Perform all cardiac invasive procedures excluding structural heart cases
* Perform peripheral procedures including carotid, A/V grafts, EVAR, and peripheral diagnostics and intervention
* Must be able to scrub cardiac and peripheral cases including PCI/STEMI
* Average of 8 cases per day
* Work in a 2-suite/bed Cath Lab unit
* Use Cerner EMR system
* Hospital-provided scrubs
* Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
* Scrub experience for PCI/STEMI required
* Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), and Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
* No radiology license required
* BSN not required

This acute care facility operates a fully equipped Cath Lab with 2 suites, supported by a charge nurse and dedicated Cath Lab and IR technicians. The facility provides comprehensive resources including 24/7 respiratory therapy, 24/7 pharmacy services, an IV team, ventilator capabilities, and a Cerner-based charting system to support high-quality cardiovascular patient care.
