Open Position: CT Technologist - CT Tech

Opportunity:

Multimodality Tech (CT/X-Ray)

Job Details:

* Night shift position working 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Possible float to like units within scope to meet facility needs
* Guaranteed hours: facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted but not preferred
* Travel experience required
* Must be registered in both Radiography (ARRT)(R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT)(C)
* Required certifications: SCRQSA, BLS, ACLS (pending accepted if obtained within 2-3 weeks of hire)
* South Carolina license required; candidates with pending license will be considered with proof of application
* Experience highly preferred in: Emergency, Trauma, Pediatrics, Orthopedic exams in both modalities, Siemens equipment, Epic, and PACS
* Radiation badge must be provided by agency prior to start
* Provide quality imaging and patient care within X-ray and CT modalities
* Effectively explain procedures to patients and ensure competency in procedures being performed
* Produce images for interpretation and/or at the request of a licensed practitioner
* Serve patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Work with Siemens X-Ray and Siemens CT equipment
* Charting system: Epic
* Scrub color: Teal blue top, black bottoms
* Parking cost applies for nights and weekends only; one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass

Facility:

This facility is a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center with 865 staffed beds. The facility provides a wide range of services including emergency, trauma, cardiac, and stroke care, and supports interdisciplinary collaboration with services such as physical therapy and interpretation services. The imaging department serves both inpatient and some outpatient populations, primarily adults with some pediatric patients.
