Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2517.36

StepDown Float RN

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
* Sunday through Saturday schedule with weekends required
* Float position required across multiple units
* Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
* Travel experience required - no first-time travelers accepted
* Local candidates accepted
* Epic charting system experience required and must be noted in work history
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS; CPI Blue Card from the Crisis Prevention Institute preferred (Float Pool nurses must obtain CPI Blue Card)
* California State License required in-hand when applying
* Two supervisor references required when applying
* Patient ratio experience of 1:3 required
* Key clinical skills required include: cardiac telemetry, central line care and management, arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, chest tube management, heparin protocols, high flow nasal cannula, interpretation of arterial blood gases, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, intracranial bleeds, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, tracheostomy care and management, PICC line management, pacemaker management, PCA, peripheral line care, phlebotomy, and use of rapid response and code teams
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, and unit secretary
