Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Sunday through Saturday
* Weekend coverage required
* Float required
* Minimum 18 months of experience required
* Travel experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Local candidates accepted
* Epic charting system experience required and must be noted in work history
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS; CPI (preferred)
* California State License required in-hand when applying; EMSA not accepted
* Two supervisor references required when applying
* Skills required include cardiac telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, central line care/management, heparin protocols, BiPAP/CPAP management, high flow nasal cannula, arterial blood gas interpretation, pacemaker management, PICC line management, tracheostomy care, and titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
* Additional skills include care of ventilated patients, chest tube management, epidural analgesia, PCA management, pre/post cardiac cath, pre/post cardiac surgery, pre/post hemodialysis management, renal failure, seizure disorder management, and use of rapid response/code teams
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, and transportation
