Opportunity:

RN - Medical Surgical

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
* Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
* Night shift patient ratio of 1:5
* Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
* First-time travelers are welcome to apply
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI Blue Card (from Crisis Prevention Institute, must be in-hand when applying)
* California state license required in-hand when applying (EMSA not accepted)
* Epic experience required and must be noted in work history
* Cerner charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience required
* LTAC experience required
* Two supervisor references required when applying
* 24 orientation hours provided
* Proficiency expected with a broad range of skills including: accessing/managing ports, blood product administration, central line blood draw, chest tube management, telemetry monitoring, tracheostomy care, wound care/wound vac, IV insulin protocols, cardiac and vasoactive drip management (no titration), BiPAP/CPAP management, high flow nasal cannula, and more
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and social services
